Chief Financial Officer
David is a Chartered Accountant with broad leadership and commercial experience across a range of industries. Prior to joining Abano Healthcare David spent eight years with Wesfarmers working in a variety of financial, commercial, and business development leadership positions across technology and data, industrial, retail and consumer goods. Before his stretch with Wesfarmers, David's early career was in corporate advisory and investment banking.
David has proven experience in delivering performance turnaround and value creation, end-to-end strategic initiative ownership, building high-quality finance functions and teams, and applying analytics to deliver insights for informed decision-making. David is adept at setting enterprise-wide long-term strategic agendas and analysing the company's financial strengths or weaknesses to support the development of sustainable corrective propositions and growth plans.
David holds an MBA from I.E. Business School and Singapore Management University, the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation and has completed a Bachelor of Economics (1st Class Honours) and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Tasmania.
David will be primarily based in Melbourne with regular visits to the teams to the Brisbane and Auckland offices, as well as the expanding network of clinics.
